MARYVILLE — Powell senior quarterback Deuce Rodgers limped off the field in the first half Friday night with his team trailing William Blount 8-7.
He wasn’t limping for long.
After a couple of offensive plays on the sideline, Rodgers returned to the game and ran for three touchdowns in a 47-16 victory over host William Blount.
