SEYMOUR — Jason Jacklet scribbled it on a piece of paper in July.
The Seymour volleyball head coach wrote down where he thought his Lady Eagles’ team could realistically finish in the 2025 season. He predicted a third place finish in District 3-AA.
Nearly three months later, Seymour hoisted the Region 2-AA Championship plaque for the first time in the history of the program with a thrilling 3-1 win over Alcoa on its home floor late Tuesday. The Lady Eagles also secured a home sectional for Thursday night.
