ALCOA — Jacolby Cooper thought about the question throughout pregame Friday night.
Randall Cobb, the former Alcoa football standout who turned into an All-American wide receiver at Kentucky and parlayed that into a 12-year NFL career, asked it as he stood in front of the current Tornadoes’ team a few hours before their Region 2-4A clash with Carter.
Cooper provided a resounding answer.
“(Cobb) was like, ‘Who’s gonna be the athlete tonight?,” Cooper said. “I had to show him.”
