Oak Ridge tight end Malik Howard rocketed up the recruiting charts early in his high school career — and the Class of 2027 standout has remained on the perch.
While some might field offers as underclassmen that later dry up, Howard has proved to not be a flash in the pan.
The 6-foot-5 junior continues to be pursued hard by nationally prominent football programs, and he recently played in the Navy All-American Game.
The finish line to his college choice is on the horizon now. So 5Star Preps reached out to chat with Howard, who had 53 catches for 778 yards and 11 touchdowns this past fall.
