CLINTON – Anderson County girls basketball coach Mitch Cupples estimates that senior leader Macy Basford has made between 40 and 50 thousand shots in the past two seasons when you add in games, practices and individual work in the offseason.
Add 10 more to the count.
Led by Basford’s 23 points, the Lady Mavericks got over the Seymour hump, 51-39, at home on Friday in the quarterfinals of the Region 2-3A Tournament.
