The significance of what was happening in his life Tuesday wasn’t lost on Denard Bertram.
When he received a call and Oak Ridge athletics director Joe Gaddis and principal Nicholas Corrigan were on the opposite end, telling him he’d gotten the boys basketball job, Bertram was able to fully appreciate it.
