Optimism always abounds in the preseason.
Nowhere did that did that ring more true than at Friday’s Knoxville Football Officials Association’s annual high school football media day at Three Ridges Golf Course in northeast Knoxville.
More than 40 area head coaches and select players spoke with media from around the area for more than four hours.
