For those who wanted to see plenty of offense in the 2026 high school football season opener Thursday night, you got all you wanted — and then some.
Powell and host Anderson County combined for 150 plays and 100 points in an offensive shootout that lasted nearly four hours.
The visiting Panthers took advantage of five costly Anderson County turnovers en route to the 56-44 victory.
