Webb School of Knoxville’s girls’ soccer team is hungry for another big season after reaching the Division II-AA state championship match the past two years.
The Lady Spartans looked plenty prepared Thursday night, rolling to a 6-0 victory over visiting rival Catholic.
Webb coach Elaine Roth said avoiding injuries will be crucial.
“I think the key for us this year is to stay healthy because we have a leaner roster,” Roth said. “The group that we have is fantastic. They work hard. They show up every day, so they’re really motivated to do some great things.”
