LOUDON — Kingston’s football team ran an old-school Wing-T offense Friday night, and Loudon couldn’t stop it.
Sophomore running back Mason Simpson rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns and the Yellow Jackets gained 463 total yards in a 45-21 victory at Loudon.
Kingston (3-0) took home the Jim “Hoot” Gibson Trophy, which honors the former coach of Loudon and Kingston.
“I’m glad to have this trophy back in Kingston,” Kingston coach Brian Pankey said, “and I know coach Gibson is listening from above. He’s glad to have this trophy back in Kingston.”
