On Grace Christian’s first offensive snap from scrimmage Thursday in the quarterfinal round of Josh Heupel’s University of Tennessee 7-on-7 Tournament, left-handed quarterback Treyson Derry whipped a complete pass over the middle to tailback Terrion Thomas for a big gain.
The play was just one of many for the Rams in the event; still, it told so much.
