ALCOA – Quarterback Amari Lethgo and wide receiver/defensive back Brody Rogers have developed a special connection in their four years with the Halls football team.
And like the rest of the seniors, they have a special bond with Halls head coach Brent Hughes.
They all began their high school careers when Hughes was promoted from Halls’ defensive coordinator to head coach in 2022.
“The senior class is my first class as a head coach, so they’re a little special to me,” Hughes said after Wednesday morning’s 7-on-7 passing scrimmage against Alcoa.
Hughes would like nothing better than a special season in 2025, and if it happens, Lethgo and Rogers likely will play big roles in it.
