HOW TEAMS ARE SELECTED

Below you’ll find the 2026 All-5Star Preps Baseball Teams.

This is not a prospect list or recruiting rankings.

The athletes are chosen from a pool of 70 total schools from the 5Star Preps coverage area.

And they are selected based on a variety of factors, including: overall talent/skill, 2026 season statistics, team success in 2026, candidate submissions from head coaches, and 5Star Preps staff assessments.

CATCHERS

FIRST TEAM

Jake Harris, Farragut, senior
The Eastern Michigan signee proved to be the heartbeat of the Farragut roster and hit .373 as a senior to help the Admirals win a fifth consecutive TSSAA state championship.

Parker Free, Oak Ridge, junior
A Kennesaw State signee, Free hit .370 in the 2026 season, helping Oak Ridge make another deep 4A postseason run with 10 home runs, 50 RBIs, 11 doubles and 15 walks.

Jordan Steinhauer, Coalfield, junior
Steinhauer produced in a variety of ways for Coalfield, the area’s top Class 1A program. He hit .429 with 11 doubles, eight home runs, 43 RBI, and 50 runs scored.

Brody Watson, Pigeon Forge, junior
 The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association’s Class 2A Mr. Baseball, Watson hit .458 in the 2026 season with eight doubles, six triples, 11 home runs, 37 RBIs, 48 runs scored and 35 walks.

SECOND TEAM

Braden Harness (Karns, junior): Harness hit .413 with 13 doubles and 27 RBIs.

Gage Brown (Kingston, senior): The Pellissippi State signee hit .394 with 14 doubles, nine homers, 44 RBIs, and 28 walks.

Cainan Crowe (Lakeway, senior): Crowe helped Lakeway win a Division II-A state championship with a .373 batting average, nine homers and 30 RBIs.

Nolan Benson (Anderson County, junior): Benson hit .372 with 26 RBIs and only struck out seven times in 176 PAs. He caught 19 runners stealing.

 

OUTFIELDERS

FIRST TEAM

Jaser Arms, McMinn County, senior
An Alabama signee, Arms hit .517 as a senior.

Bryson Allen, Lakeway, senior
Allen’s 12 home runs, 11 doubles and 44 RBIs were key in Lakeway’s Division II-A state championship season.

Wyatt Jones, CAK, sophomore
Jones erupted in 2026, logging a .509 batting average with eight homers, 44 RBIs, 40 runs and 19 walks.

Tegan Begley, Greeneville, senior
Begley helped Greeneville claim runner-up status in 3A, hitting .411 with 16 doubles, 44 RBIs, and 50 runs.

Colby Comparato, Halls, senior
Comparato hit 13 bombs to go with a .429 average, 12 doubles, and 39 RBIs.

Neyland Williams, Farragut, senior
Williams hit .378, which ranked second on Farragut, while helping the Admirals win a fifth consecutive state title.

SECOND TEAM

Warren East (Oak Ridge, junior): The Georgia State commit hit .340 with 35 RBIs and 32 stolen bases.

Bowen Combs (Meigs County, junior): Combs batted .512 with eight home runs and 32 RBIs.

Elijah Miller (Seymour, senior): Miller hit .466 with 26 RBIs, 39 runs and 27 stolen bases.

Aidan Flagg (Farragut, senior): The Lipscomb signee hit nine home runs with 38 RBIs for five-time defending state champion Farragut.

Rylan Jessee (Catholic, junior): Jessee put his name on the radar with a .330 campaign that featured nine doubles, seven homers and 35 RBIs.

Noah Lyons (Fulton, senior): A Milligan signee, Lyons hit .423 with 15 doubles, 65 runs scored and 31 RBIs.

Lane Cope (ECCA, senior): Cope hit .433 with nine doubles, four triples, 34 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases.

 

TWO-WAY TALENTS

FIRST TEAM

Mikee Teasley, Oak Ridge, senior
The Tennessee signee, 5Star Preps Pitcher of the Year and two-time Class 4A TBCA Mr. Baseball recipient led Oak Ridge back to the 4A state tournament. He went 11-0 on the mound with 138 strikeouts (versus 27 walks) and a 1.15 ERA in 73.1 innings pitched. But he also hit .397 with a team-high 58 hits. He scored 39 runs and drive in 36 RBIs.

Gaven French, Heritage, junior
A Tennessee verbal commit and 5Star Preps Offensive Player of the Year, French spearheaded Heritage’s first-ever trip to a TSSAA state tournament, going 9-1 as a pitcher with 109 strikeouts and a 1.18 in 65.1 innings. At the plate, French hit .463 with 17 home runs, 48 walks and 56 RBIs.

Travis Brummitt Jr., Farragut, senior
The 5Star Preps Most Valuable Player played a significant part in Farragut’s run to a fifth consecutive state championship, Brummitt hit .411 with nine doubles, five home runs, 56 RBIs and 29 walks while going 10-0 on the mound with a 2.05 ERA and 70 strikeouts.

Will Harmon, Greeneville, senior
Harmon won 10 games and notched three saves while striking out 124 and compiling a 1.25 ERA in 78 innings pitched. He also hit .376 with 11 doubles, 10 home runs and 61 RBIs, helping Greeneville finish state runner-up in 3A.

Chase Gockenbach, Lakeway, sophomore
Injury halted Gockenbach’s season for a bit, but he returned down the stretch and pitched a gem in the Division II-A state championship win. He finished 7-1 on the mound with a 1.45 ERA but also hit .351 with six homers and 28 RBIs.

Joey Sulish, CAK, senior
A Co-MVP in district play, Sulish hit .445 with 15 doubles and 32 RBIs but also went 6-1 as a pitcher with 72 strikeouts in 50.3 innings pitched.

Will Price, Gibbs, senior
A Samford signee, Price won seven games on the mound with 114 strikeouts and a 1.68 ERA during Gibbs’ run to the state tournament. He also hit .393 with nine doubles, seven home runs and 45 RBIs.

Jack Treece, Coalfield, junior
A TBCA Mr. Baseball finalist, Treece went 10-0 with two saves and a 1.31 ERA while hitting .474 with 14 doubles, six homers, 38 RBIs and 57 runs scored.

Joe Webb, Oak Ridge, junior
The Vanderbilt commitment helped Oak Ridge make another nice run in the 4A postseason with eight home runs, 29 RBIs, 32 walks and 32 stolen bases. He also won seven games on the mound and fanned 77 batters.

SECOND TEAM

Treyson Derry (Grace, junior): The Western Kentucky commit hit .412 and went 4-1 on the mound with 53 strikeouts in 47 innings.

Brody Waller (CAK, senior): Waller hit eight homers and drove in 34 while going 4-3 with 49 strikeouts in 40.6 innings.

Luke Burnett (Lakeway, senior): Burnett won nine games as a pitcher, including nice outings against elite competition. He hit .368 with 24 RBIs.

Isaiah Harrill (Kingston, junior): Harrill hit .479 with 32 RBIs but also won eight games and fanned 65 hitters in 55.2 innings.

Brighton Presley (Kingston, sophomore): Blasting 12 homers with a .438 batting average, Presley also won four games and struck out 61 hitters.

Collier Helton (Pigeon Forge, freshman): This lefty went 10-0 with 85 strikeouts and a 1.68 ERA while hitting .377 with 46 RBIs.

Parker Rogers (Wartburg, sophomore): Rogers hit .464 with 35 RBIs. On the mound, he struck out 100 in 66.1 innings and won seven games.

Sam Thompson (Greeneville, senior): Thompson won six games on the mound but also hit .391 with 38 RBIs for 3A runner-up Greeneville.

 

INFIELDERS

FIRST TEAM

Miles Watson, Alcoa, senior
The 6-2, 235-pound Watson, a Pellissippi State signee, had one of the state’s top offensive seasons in 2026. He hit .477 with 18 home runs, 75 RBIs, 10 doubles, 31 walks and 52 runs scored.

Easton Housewright, Grace Christian, freshman
One of the top prospects nationally from the Class of 2029, Housewright showed why in the spring, when he hit .418 with 10 home runs, 12 doubles, 40 RBIs, 39 run, 26 walks and 14 stolen bases.

D.J. Lowery, Knoxville Catholic, junior
Lowery probably didn’t get enough attention locally for the offensive season he had as a junior. He hit .430 with nine doubles, four triples, 12 home runs, 38 RBIs, 50 runs scored and 35 stolen bases (in 35 attempts).

Mason Shelton, Farragut, junior
Shelton’s offensive production was critical for Farragut in its fifth consecutive state championship season. The second baseman hit .367 with 12 home runs, 12 doubles and 44 RBIs.

Cole Creasman, Farragut, sophomore
The 6-3, 210-pound third baseman hit .333 against a demanding schedule with 13 doubles and 44 RBIs, helping the Admirals win a fifth consecutive state championship.

Kaine Ricker, Greeneville, junior
The 6-1, 190-pound shortstop helped the Greene Devils reach the 3A title game by hitting .381 with nine doubles, 24 walks, 47 RBIs and 57 runs scored.

Brayden Littleton, Heritage, junior
A clutch performer during Heritage’s banner season that reached the 3A state semifinals, Littleton hit .418 with 60 RBIs, 14 doubles, seven home runs and 18 walks.

Nick Riordan, Central, senior
The Missouri State signee and middle infielder hit .419 with eight homers and 40 RBIs for the Bobcats while fanning 60 in 36 innings pitched.

SECOND TEAM

Ty Eichman (Alcoa, junior): Eichman ranked second on Alcoa in batting (.383) with 27 walks, seven doubles and 31 RBIs.

Jaiden Cheverton (Oak Ridge, sophomore): Cheverton arguably played his best ball in the postseason. He wound up hitting .352 with 30 RBIs, 17 stolen bases and 29 runs.

Knox Pemberton (Coalfield, sophomore): Pemberton hit .398 with 35 RBIs, 33 runs and 29 stolen bases.

Gavin Bergeron (Gibbs, senior): Bergeron helped power a run to state with a .427 batting average, 15 doubles, 36 RBIs and 28 stolen bases.

Mark Sackermann (William Blount, senior): The Carson-Newman signee hit .385 with eight doubles, 44 RBIs, 35 walks and 26 runs.

Karson Hard (William Blount, senior): A defensive whiz at shortstop, Hard also hit .359 with a school-record 17 doubles. He stole 33 bases.

Jayce Simon (ECCA, senior): Eagleton made sectionals for the first time. And Simon not only won seven games as a pitcher, but he also hit .362 with 14 doubles, seven homers and 41 RBIs.

Hayden Sanders (Heritage, senior): The Mountaineers’ first baseman hit .371 with 62 RBIs, 14 doubles and eight home runs. He also won five games on the mound.

Jack Hamilton (Lakeway, senior): The Lions’ first baseman helped LCA win a Division II-A state title with 39 hits, eight homers and 42 RBIs.

 

PITCHERS

FIRST TEAM

Brody Carr, Jefferson County, senior
The 6-foot-1, 205-pound lefty and Vanderbilt signee went 7-0 as a senior with two saves, 124 strikeouts against 15 walks and a 0.66 ERA. Opponents hit just .143 off Carr in 2026., 15 walks, 124 Ks, 0.663 ERA, .143 BAA

Myles Cox, Alcoa, junior
The 6-foot, 180-pound Cox is a right-hander and Texas A&M commit who went 12-0 for Alcoa with a 1.41 ERA and 113 strikeouts against 12 walks.

Waylon Burgess, Coalfield, senior
A 6-foot-4, three-sport standout at Coalfield, Burgess is a right-hander who has committed to Walters State. He has velocity well into the 90s. He went 11-0 as a senior with 123 strikeouts in 57.2 innings pitched. He posted a 0.97 ERA.

Fisher Green, Halls, sophomore
While Green (5-10, 175) can certainly handle business at the plate (39 RBIs in 2026), he can be stellar on the mound. He went 6-0 for Halls as a sophomore, striking out 54 in 34.1 innings and compiling a 1.22 ERA. Opponents hit just .182 off him.

Parker Davis, Alcoa, senior
Davis produced in some big moments for Alcoa in its march to the state tournament. The Lee commit won eight games and fanned 99 batters in 71 innings pitched. He constructed a 1.09 ERA this season.

Braiden Meredith, Farragut, junior
Meredith went 7-1 for the 4A state champion Admirals, authoring a 1.49 ERA and allowing opponents to hit a measly .144 off him in 2026.

SECOND TEAM

Kris Pelliccio (Anderson County, senior): Pelliccio went 4-1 for the Mavs with a 1.30 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 48.1 innings.

Bradley Wade (Farragut, senior): Wade won three games for the Ads and carried a 0.26 ERA in 27 innings pitched as a reliever. He allowed one earned run.

Cash Schroeder (Farragut, junior): Schroeder went 6-1 for Farragut, striking out 48 in 42.1 innings.

Andrew Bivens (Central, junior): Bivens posted a 7-1 pitching record in 2026, striking out 88 in 68.1 innings and composing a 1.22 ERA.

Dannen LaVella (Seymour, junior): The 6-5 LaVella went 7-0 in the spring with an ERA of .093 in 53 innings pitched.

Easton Gaff (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior): Gaff performed well against big opponents and ended the season with a 0.92 ERA, 71 strikeouts and four wins in 45.2 innings pitched.
