There has been plenty of drama over the last two days at the District 2-AAA Tournament at Sevier County.
Morristown East delivered the first two buzzer-beaters. Connor Jordan hit a baseline jumper Friday to knock off South-Doyle and advance to Saturday’s district championship against Sevier County.
Then his teammate, Braden Ilic, hit a 3-pointer Saturday to force overtime against Sevier County.
But the Smoky Bears had the final say, as Marvin Castro delivered the knock-out punch in the district title game. It gave Sevier County the 57-54 win in overtime.
Here’s one look at the moment.
