MARYVILLE – Junior quarterback Caiden West and the Tellico Plains football team kept their composure and earned a comeback victory Friday night.
West ran for 207 yards and five touchdowns as the Bears rallied from a 14-0 deficit and beat host Eagleton College and Career Academy 50-28.
West didn’t panic when facing the first-quarter deficits.
“We have a good team,” West said, “and I was thinking we’re going to come back and win the game.”
