Grace Christian Academy football got to see what kind of team it wants to become Friday night.
The Rams got an up-close look at Battle Ground Academy of Franklin, which was every bit the team GCA expected.
Senior quarterback Kaedyn Marable threw four touchdown passes and ran for a touchdown, leading BGA to a 42-14 victory over the host Rams in the Division II-AA state quarterfinals.
“BGA is one of the best teams in the state, probably in any division,” Grace Christian coach Justin Price said. “They’re well coached. They have Division I talent all over the field, but our kids were ready for this moment. This is our second year in a row in the quarterfinals, and it was just an electric atmosphere.”
