The Hardin Valley Academy football program was one of the first area teams to post a head-coaching vacancy in November.
The Hawks, now, are the first one to get their opening filled.
HVA principal Rob Speas confirmed Monday afternoon the hiring of Jeff Miner as the next head football coach of the Hawks.
