MARYVILLE — Joe Osovet made it the theme of last Sunday’s team meeting.
A couple of days after his Heritage football team erased an early two-score deficit to beat the Christian Academy of Knoxville, the Mountaineers’ head coach emphasized a quicker start in their Region 2-4A opener Friday against South-Doyle.
They answered.
“We challenged them to play fast,” Osovet said. “And we came out on that fast.”
