Picture this: Jefferson County athlete Shawn Jackson is racing down the sideline for a big gain, but it looks like he will come up just short of a touchdown.
Until he gets a physical block at the 10-yard line from Mason Henderson that allows Jackson to reach the endzone.
Mason Henderson is the Patriots’ quarterback.
If Jefferson County’s 27-24 win at Powell on Friday was a statement win, that may be the play that best puts a visual to the statement.
“That symbolizes this football team,” Jefferson County coach Spencer Riley said.
