CLINTON – Johnathan Stewart certainly wasn’t a reluctant hero on Friday night.
Rather than shrink from the moment, Oak Ridge High’s guard dug deep into his resourcefulness to save it. First, he fielded teammate Jeremy Miller’s desperation pass like a sure-handed shortstop.
Then the 6-foot-2 junior had the wherewithal to quickly dribble up the court and check the game clock.
