Below you’ll find the 2025 All-5Star Preps Golf Team selections.
Players are selected from a 70-school-wide coverage area and are selected based on postseason performances for themselves and their teams, along with consultant recommendations, a player’s overall talent level, and, in some cases, regular-season performance.
BOYS FIRST TEAM

The First Baptist Academy Eagles boys golf team captured the Division II-A TSSAA State Championship on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Sevierville (Tenn.) Golf Club.
Parker Beck (Stone Memorial, junior): The Class A state runner-up (73-71), Beck won medalist honors in District 7-A and fired a 71 at the Region 4-A Tournament.
Charlie Culbertson (Bearden, senior): The Class AA state runner-up (68-72), Culbertson carded a 70 at the Region 2-AA Tournament to qualify for state. Culbertson shot 75 at the District 4-AA Tournament.
Eli Glenn (Hardin Valley, senior): Glenn helped HVA win the Class AA state tournament, individually tying for third (73-68). Glenn started his postseason with a 71 at the District 4-AA Tournament.
Leo Huddleston (Maryville, senior): The 2025 5Star Preps Masters runner-up tied for seventh (72-71) at the Class AA state tournament (72-71), also qualifying for state with a 70 at the Region 2-AA Tournament.
Tyler Stafford (CAK, sophomore): Stafford challenged for an individual state title, finishing tied for fifth (70-71) at the Division II-A state tournament. Stafford’s 70 earned medalist honors the Division II-A Region Tournament.
Ray ReBell (Maryville, freshman): A consistent contender all season, ReBell tied for 12th (73-71) at the Class AA state tournament after shooting 69 and finishing as runner-up at the Region 2-AA Tournament. ReBell also shot 69 at district.
Conner Williams (Hardin Valley, senior): A key member of HVA’s Class AA state championship squad, Williams tied for 12th (71-73) at state after firing rounds of 73 and 70, respectively at the Region 2-AA and District 4-AA tournaments.
Jake Sheffield (Hardin Valley, senior): The 2025 5Star Preps Masters champion and 5Star Preps Boys Player of the Year bounced back from a tough round at district to capture medalist honors with a 66 at the Region 2-AA Tournament. His rounds of 72 helped HVA win a Class AA state tournament.
Hunter Mousa (Hardin Valley, sophomore): Mousa came up clutch at the Class AA state tournament, where he tied for seventh with rounds of 72 and 71. That helped HVA win a state title. He also shot 74 at the Region 2-AA Tournament.
Alex Green (First Baptist Academy, junior): Green’s final-round 67 propelled FBA to a Division II-A team state championship. He tied for third (73-67) individually at state.
BOYS SECOND TEAM
Arjun Patel (Hardin Valley, sophomore): T28 at Class AA state (72-76), 73 at Region 2-AA, 77 at District 4-AA
Sam Helms (Berean Christian, senior): eighth at Division II-A state (73-73), 75 at Division II-A Region, 70 at Division II-A District
Jesse Clowers (FBA, junior): 12th at Division II-A state (75-75), 77 at Division II-A Region, 78 at Division II-A District
Max Green (FBA, junior): 13th at Division II-A state (74-77), 77 at Division II-A Region, 75 at Division II-A District
Lane Stokes (FBA, senior): T14th at Division II-A state (74-78), 71 at Division II-A Region, 76 at Division II-A District
Blake Russell (CAK, senior): T14th at Division II-A state (76-76), 79 at Division II-A Region, 69 at Division II-A District
Brady Morris (FBA, junior): 16th at Division II-A state (79-75), 74 at Division II-A Region, 76 at Division II-A District
Bryson Hardin (Elizabethton, sophomore): T29 at Class A state (79-81), 72 at Region 1-A, 70 at District 1-A
Andrew Sandberg (Webb, senior): Sandberg averaged 2.25 under par this season in a demanding classification.
Colmore Sprouse (Webb, sophomore): One of the top-ranked golfers in the state, Sprouse averaged 1.2 strokes under part in 2025.

GIRLS FIRST TEAM

Kylee Renner (Greeneville, sophomore): Renner helped Greeneville win a Class A team championship, individually tying for fourth with rounds of 74 and 76. Renner carded 81 at the District 1-A Tournament and 80 at Region 1-A.
Brylee Catron (Greeneville, junior): Catron played a big role in Greeneville winning a state title, tying for fourth individually with rounds of 73 and 77. She shot an 80 at the District 1-A Tournament and was medalist with a 75 at Region 1-A.
Kamryn Renner (Greeneville, sophomore): A key part of Greeneville winning a state title, Renner tied for 11th at the Class A state tournament with rounds of 77 and 81. She also broke 80 at the District 1-A Tournament (78) and Region 1-A (79).
Addisyn Newman (Hardin Valley, sophomore): After narrowly missing out on a state title as a freshman, Newman came right back in 2025 and challenged again, finishing runner-up in Class AA with scores of 72 and 69 at state. She signed for 74s at District 4-AA and Region 2-AA.
Harper Holmes (Farragut, junior): Holmes was to be one of Knoxville’s top players in 2025 and didn’t disappoint, tying for 12th in the Class AA state tournament with a 77 and 79. She shot 77 at the District 4-AA Tournament and 87 at region.
Isabella Coughlin (CAK, senior): The 5Star Preps Girls Golfer of the Year signed with Western Kentucky in November. She earned 2025 Division II-A individual runner-up honors with rounds of 74 and 69. She shot 70 in region-tournament play and 67 in district.
Riley Reed (Lakeway, senior): A Carson-Newman signee, Reed peaked when it mattered most: at state. She placed third in Division II-A with scores of 74 and 70. She signed for a 78 in district-tournament play and an 80 at region.
Grady Thomas (CAK, junior): Thomas had a tough start to the postseason but found her game at state, helping the Lady Warriors win another state title by individually tying for fifth with rounds of 76 and 75.
Teagan Walker (Catholic, junior): After shooting a solid 76 at the Division II-AA East Region Tournament, Walker soared at state, where she tied for third with rounds of 69 and 72 at Sevierville Golf Club.
Bella Patel (Webb, freshman): Patel made an impact in her ninth-grade season in the demaning Division II-AA ranks. She finished 11th in the Division II-AA state tournament, signing for scores of 77 and 79. She shot an 83 at the Division II-AA East Region Tournament.

Linzy Johnson (Catholic, junior): T14 at Division II-AA state (76-84), 79 at Division II-AA East Region
Sophia Parsons (Alcoa, freshman): T11 at Class A state (84-74), 81 at Region 2-A, 80 at District 3-A
Sydney May (Anderson County, senior): T11 at Class A state (77-81), 79 at Region 2-A, 80 at District 3-A
Ella Stone (Alcoa, freshman): 19th at Class A state (81-80), 87 at Region 2-A, 79 at District 3A
Leona Patel (Hardin Valley, senior): T19 at Class AA state (87-76), 90 at Region 2-AA, 85 at District 4-AA
Sophia Williams (Farragut, sophomore): T22 at Class AA state (81-84), 82 at Region 2-AA, 87 at District 4-AA
Rylee Taylor (Hardin Valley, junior): T22 at Class AA state (84-81), 83 at Region 2-AA, 86 at District 4-AA
Reese McMaham (West, freshman): T26 at Class AA state (90-77), 86 at Region 2-AA, 86 at District 4-AA
Mahala Walker (Cumberland Gap, senior): 27th at Class A state (80-89), 78 district, rough day at region but advanced
