CLINTON — Halls running back Knox Burton hasn’t figured out the art of celebrating when out of breath yet, but he had a lot of chances to practice on Thursday night.
The Red Devil running back tandem of sophomore Burton and freshman Maverick Sharp lived in the Clinton end zone, leading Halls to a 45-7 win in the regular season finale.
The victory for Halls (5-5, 5-2 Region 2-5A) clinches a playoff berth while Clinton (3-7, 3-4) misses the postseason for the second-straight season.
