Girls TRACK & FIELD Teams

FIRST TEAM
Calysta Garmer (Webb, junior): Already the KIL champion in the 1600 and 3200, Garmer followed that with Division II-AA state championships in the 1600m (4:49.41) and 3200m (10:31.20). She also placed fourth in the 800m. Garmer won the 5000m National Championship at the New Balance Nationals in June, setting a new meet record. She is the 2025 5Star Preps Girls Track Athlete of the Year.
Lacy Young (Webb, freshman): Young helped Webb win a Division II-AA State Championship by finishing first in the state 100m (11.79), first in the 200m (24.97), and runner-up on the 4 x 200 relay.
Lennox Langham (Webb, senior): A key member in Webb’s state championship, Langham claimed first in Division II-AA state triple jump (40-2), second in the long jump (18-7), and runner-up in the 4 x 200 relay. Langham was the KIL long jump and triple jump champion.
Jazzlyn Garmer (Webb, junior): Garmer placed second in the Division II-AA state 1600m (4:51.32) and second in the state 3200m (10:31.35), helping Webb win a state title.
Chloe Truss (Catholic, junior): One of the more well-known names in state track, Truss took second in the Division II-AA 100m (12.09), second in the state 200m (25.23), and was a member of the state champion 4 x 200 relay team. Truss won the KIL 200m and 400m championships.
Simone Romain (Webb, freshman): Romain played a big role in Webb winning a Division II-AA state championship with her third-place finish in the state 100m (12.12) and her third-place finish in the state 200m (25.53).
Addison Miller (Gibbs, junior): Miller placed third in the state Class AA 400m (57.36), fifth in state Class AA 100m (12.82), and fifth in the state Class AA 200m (26.01).
Savannah Darnell (William Blount, senior): Darnell finished fourth in the Class AAA pentathlon and then later claimed third in the Class AAA state high jump. She added solid state finishes in the 100m and 200m.
Payton Sipos (Catholic, junior): Sipos claimed fourth in the Division II-AA pentathlon and then later placed third in state 100m hurdles (14.68), runner-up in the state 300m hurdles (44.90), and ran on the state championship 4 x 200 relay.
Amelia Wedemeyer (CAK, senior): Wedemeyer wound up fourth in the Division II-A state pentathlon and later took third in state 100m hurdles (15.41), runner-up in the state 300m hurdles (45.95), and fourth in the state long jump (16-2.25).
Katie Edmunds (Farragut, senior): Edmunds posted a second-place showing in the state Class AAA pole vault (11-6). She won the KIL and sectional pole vault meets.
Tallulah Carney (Webb, senior): Carney helped Webb win a state title with a third-place finish in the Division II-AA state high jump.
Jamira Smalls (Elizabethton, junior): Smalls placed first in the state Class AA shot put (37-8.75).
Maggie Frana (Catholic, senior): Frana shone in field events, placing first in the Division II-AA state discus (132-9) and third in the shot put (35-11.25). She won the KIL titles in those events.
Carolina Areheart (Webb, junior): Areheart played a big part in Webb’s state championship. She finished first in the Division II-AA 800m (2:09.43) and ran on the championship 4 x 800 team. Areheart was the KIL champion in the 800 and 1600.
Ava Moody (Anderson County, junior): Moody took first in the Class AA 3200m run (10:56.48), second in the Class AA 1600m (5:03.71), and fifth in Class AA 800m (2:21.48).
Annalee Seratt (Maryville, senior): A member of the 4 x 100 relay team that finished fourth in Class AAA, Seratt also was a member of the 4 x 200 relay team that finished fourth in Class AAA, and a member of the 4 x 400 relay that finished second in Class AAA.
Maddie Burgin (Maryville, freshman): A member of the 4 x 100 relay that finished fourth in Class AAA, Burgin also was a member of the 4 x 200 relay that finished fourth in Class AAA, and a member of 4 x 400 relay that finished second in Class AAA.
Sky Dunford (Maryville, senior): Dunford finished sixth in the Class AAA 100m hurdles (15.11) and seventh in the Class AAA 300m hurdles (47.46). sectionals runner-up 100 hurdles, sectionals 300m hurdles winner, fourth leg of 4 x 100 that finished fourth in Class AAA
Mackenzie Eisenberg (West, sophomore): Eisenberg was the Class AAA runner-up in the high jump (5-4) and was sixth in the state triple jump (36-2). She was the sectionals champ in the high jump, triple jump and long jump.
Alexandra Vesser (HVA, sophomore): After winning sectionals in the 1600m and 3200m, Vesser placed seventh in the Class AAA state 1600m and eighth in the 3200m.

Dominika Kooch (Sevier County, senior): 10th in Class AAA state 200m, 14th in Class AAA 100m
Jazmyne Blackwell (Alcoa, sophomore): fourth in Class AA state 400m
Camdyn Garland (Elizabethton, junior): fourth in Class AA state pentathlon
Elle Etheridge (West, sophomore): fifth in Class AAA state pentathlon
Jasalyn Thompson (Seymour, junior): third in Class AA state 100m hurdles
McCary Beaty (McMinn Central, senior): fourth in Class AA state 300m hurdles
Peyton Brooks (Lakeway, senior): fifth in Division II-A long jump, second in triple jump
Naomi Burum (HVA, junior): eighth in Class AAA triple jump
Lily Johnson (CAK, sophomore): third in Division II-A triple jump
Kinsey Collins (Northview, sophomore): fourth in Class AA high jump
Kayla Underwood (Lakeway, sophomore): second in Division II-A high jump
Liahna Nave (Elizabethton, sophomore): second in Class AA discus
