How Are The Players Selected?
This is NOT a recruiting/prospect list. The players who were chosen — from our 70-school coverage area — were selected based off a variety of factors, including: season stats, team success, state tournament performances, ability level, coach recommendations, etc…
FORWARDS
FIRST TEAM
Ben Brophy (Hardin Valley Academy, senior): The 2025 5Star Preps Boys Soccer Player of the Year scored the game-winning goal in the Class AAA state championship that also broke the HVA all-time goal record in a career with 80. Brophy netted 31 goals as a senior with six assists.
Cameron Harp (South-Doyle, junior): Harp helped South-Doyle appear in the Class AA title game for a second consecutive season, scoring 13 goals and assisting on 13 others along the way.
Brandon Ramirez (Gatlinburg-Pittman, senior): Coming off a 2024 season where he was Class A MVP, Ramirez scored 28 goals this spring with 22 assists for the Highlanders.
Felipe Evans (Grace Christian, senior): The Rams won the Division II-A State Championship, and Evans scored 24 goals and logged 16 assists along the way.
Lucas Ford (Bearden, senior): The District 4-3A Co-Offensive Player of the Year, Ford helped Bearden make it to the TSSAA State Tournament with 13 goals and 18 assists this spring.
Carlos Turcios Reyes (Gatlinburg-Pittman, senior): Along with Brandon Ramirez, Turcios Reyes helped comprise a palpable offensive attack for G-P in 2025, posting more than 20 combined goals and assists this spring.

MIDFIELDERS
FIRST TEAM
Frankie Manrod (Hardin Valley Academy, senior): One of the most versatile players in East Tennessee, Manrod used that ability to HVA’s advantage, helping the Hawks win a Class AAA championship. He wound up with 10 goals and 14 assists in the 2025 season.
Roger Oseguera Cruz (South-Doyle, junior): The District 5-2A Player of the Year played a big part in So-Do returning to the Class AA state championship game this season. He scored 20 goals and recorded nine assists in the spring.
Yefri Banegas Sosa (Fulton, senior): The District 3-2A Player of the Year scored 11 goals with 11 assists en route to helping Fulton win its first-ever district championship, region championship and state tournament game.
Jonathan Valdez (Pigeon Forge, senior): Valdez netted a whopping 49 goals for the Tigers, who reached the Class A state tournament for the first time in program history.
Pedro Ungarello (Grace Christian, senior): Ungarello led the Rams in goals scored (27) and assists (17) this season while helping GCA win a Division II-A State Championship.
Dane Hammer (Hardin Valley Academy, junior): Hammer came up big time and time again for the Hawks during their march to the Class AAA championship, and he finished the 2025 season with 14 goals and 18 assists.

DEFENDERS
FIRST TEAM
Lincoln Unger (Farragut, junior): The District 4-3A Defensive Player of the Year steered Farragut to 11 wins in the 2025 season
Finn Straussfogel (South-Doyle, junior): The District 5-2A Defender of the Year scored eight goals with eight assists but also helped opponents to 19 goals allowed in 23 games.
Denis Reina Padilla (Fulton, senior): The District 3-2A Defender of the Year helped Fulton win its first-ever district championship, region championship and state tournament game.
Caden Brooks (Gatlinburg-Pittman, senior): While he wound up having more than 10 goals and assists combined from his backline position, Brooks helped G-P limit opponents to less than 1.0 goals scored per game.
Stiven Colbert (Gatlinburg-Pittman, junior): One of the top centerbacks in the Class A ranks, Colbert helped G-P win 16 games and possessed a skill set that could play in any classification and succeed.
Carson Lee (Grace Christian, senior): The Division II-A East District Defender of the Year, Lee played a key role in a backline that allowed only 88 shots and 11 goals in 18 games.

GOALKEEPERS
FIRST TEAM
Logan Nelson (Bearden, senior): A next-level talent and the District 4-3A and Region 2-3A MVP, Nelson anchored a Bearden defense that recorded nine shutouts and that allowed just 16 goals all season.
Adam Leonard (Hardin Valley, senior): A Belmont signee, Leonard helped comprise nine shutout clean sheets during the Hawks’ Class AAA state championship campaign — including a 1-nil win over Hendersonville in the state semifinals.
Stephen Sampson (Grace Christian, senior): Sampson and the Grace Christian Rams didn’t allow a single goal in six of the last seven games of their season en route to claiming the Division II-A State Championship.
