The 2025 season proved to be a fruitful one for 5Star Preps area high school softball programs.
Gibbs winning a 10-inning thriller over DeKalb County in the 3A season finale definitely headlined the summary, as the Lady Eagles brought home their second consecutive state title and 12th overall.
But programs like Oakdale, Kingston, Alcoa, Heritage and Farragut all reached Spring Fling, too.
Could those experiences help lead them to season-ending hardware come late May?
