West High School defensive stars Drew Francis and Tyrece Edwards are pretty tight. So tight, in fact, that the talk around their recruitment was that they might want to commit to the same school.
That scenario came to fruition this weekend, as Francis and Edwards announced their verbal commitments via Twitter to the Arkansas football program.
Francis posted his at 12:27 a.m. Sunday morning with this tweet.

Both players were 2018 All-5Star Preps First Team Selections and the top two players on our article this past week …
Nevertheless, those Tennessee offers never came to Francis nor Edwards.
Francis is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound Tennessee legacy player who held offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Purdue and Vanderbilt. He had 17.5 tackles for loss as a junior in 2018.
Edwards (6-3, 230) had offers from Arizona, Missouri, Memphis, Indiana, Wake Forest and Middle Tennessee. The rising senior had 100 tackles and 10 tackles for loss last fall.
